Description: For a long time poeple that worked with asbestos didn't realize the dangers. A company I worked for did a cleanup for a big roofing company. They had a huge stockpile of old asbestos shingles. When we went in everyday we had to wear an asbestos monitor. If it turned red we had to go the decamination facility immediately. This plant was on the shores of Lake Michigan so God only knows what damage was done to the lake. I imagine there is a heavy asbestos silt that is just waiting to dredged up and dried so it can then be dispersed through the air to cause disease in unsupecting nearby residents.
